Maxibright Daylight 200w LED Grow Light
After the remarkable success of the 660w Maxibright Daylight LED Grow Light, there was a growing demand for a more compact version of this product, for growers with limited space. The 200w grow light is exceptionally bright, dimmable and very robust; making the 200w model great for those new to LED technology. This unit is equivalent to around 250-300w of HID lighting. It is great for mothers, vegging plants, as well as smaller flowering rooms.
With a remarkable rating of 2.3 μmol per Watt and a total output of 460 μmol/s, the full spectrum of light these lights deliver will encourage a vast amount of healthy growth with a bountiful harvest of fruits and flowers.
How to Use the Maxibright Daylight 200w LED Grow Light
A major benefit when switching to LED light technology is the reduced amount of heat. The small amount of heat produced is via convection; this means it rises upwards and is easy to extract. Normally the heat is radiated down towards the plants. The moderately low wattage of this unit mean they can fit and function perfectly in even the smallest of grow spaces.
The Maxibright Daylight 200w is perfect for a 0.6m² area and can be used in a 0.8m² area very effectively. This makes it a perfect match for the following tents:
BudBox LITE Tent (80cm x 80cm x 160cm)
BudBox LITE Tent (100cm x 100xm x 200cm)
However, many growers choose to run two or more, side by side. In which case a larger tent will be required. Please check out our range of Grow Tents to find the perfect solution for your grow space.
The Maxibright Daylight 200w LED is very easy to setup and use. With the simple plug and play application you can get set up and growing in a matter of seconds! It has been CE (health, safety and environmental standards), LVD (low voltage directive) and EMC/EMI (electromagnetic compatibility) certified. This product also comes with a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Why Choose LED?
The units boast a 50,000 hour lifespan and on a 12/12 cycle you can achieve over 13 years of use from these innovative units. You will not need to change a single lamp over this time. Unlike HPS lights, there is very little degradation overtime, this means that not only will you not have to physically change bulbs, but your diodes will still be producing near on the same output, year in, year out, just like they did when new and only degrading around 1-3% per year. LED solutions can potentially save 40% on electricity and studies indicate that LED-lit canopies can generate more yield per kWh. With studies showing growers using LED lighting may experience yield increases and changes in cannabinoid and terpene profiles, leading to more consistent medicinal product profiles from harvest to harvest. LEDs are very efficient, and the less wattage equals less heat into the space, allowing for potentially lower extraction loads and operating expense.
