Blumat Drip Irrigation Kits

A versatile and easy to use solution to drip irrigation and watering automation especially for people growing using Ecothrive Eco Life Soil or a No-Till setup. The Blumat system uses an intelligent dripper that senses how dry the soil is and delivers water independently to each pot only when needed, meaning each pot gets the correct amount of water tailored to the plants' needs. The system is modular and can be easily adapted to suit even the largest pots or plant numbers. 

We have taken the hard work out of setting up your system and have a choice of irrigation kits available. Each kit comes with all the required components to completely irrigate a single pot of the specified size. All you need to do is buy enough 8mm Irrigation Tubing and a 13mm-8mm Click-Fit Tank Adapter and Filter to connect your irrigation kit to your water butt. If you are looking to irrigate more than one pot from a single water butt then all of the kits come with the required connections to allow you to do so as well. Inside each pack, you will also find a handy setup guide that shows you the positions your Blumat Drippers should be in order to achieve the best results.

For most small to medium sized setups (around 4x 56L pots) where up to 5m of 8mm tubing is used, the system is capable of working entirely by gravity and requires no pumps or electricity to deliver water to your pots providing your water butt is 50cm above the top of the pot. For every extra 5m of 8mm tubing used then the water butt must be raised a further 50cm. This can become difficult for large setups, however, Blumat has a solution; the Blumat Pump System! The Pump System connects to your water butt and will ensure the necessary pressure is achieved throughout all your pots to maintain the required watering.
