A very cleverly thought-out and innovative LED grow light. The Adjusta-Watt Retro incorporates the ever-popular 'Bar LED' style configuration into a sleek and compact unit that enables it to fit in almost any space! If your are struggling for room then you no longer need to worry about looking for a smaller or lower output LED! The Retro will deliver a total of 1890 PPF and is powered from a quality digital dimmable ballast. For those looking to run 2 lights, a splitter cable is available that allows 2 LED fixtures to be powered from a single ballast!
The Adjusta-Watt Retro has all the features you would expect from a quality LED. It is a bar style which means you will get a superb spread and very even light coverage in your grow space. It uses top grade, ultra-high PPF and PPE LED diodes. These provide a mixture of whites, cool blues, warm and far red light spectrums making the Retro suitable for the entire growth cycle from veg to flower. It is designed to perform for over 50000 hours and during this time you will see very little output degradation. The unit runs very cool and is completely silent when operating.
Aside from all the main benefits of using LED lighting, the Adjust-Watt also has a very unique feature. You have the option to run either one or two LED fixtures from a single digital ballast! For those looking to get the maximum light output and the highest yields per 1m2 then you can use one ballast and one Retro LED. With the light positioned around 15cm from the canopy this will produce on average over twice the amount of growth light as you would get from a 600w HID light! For growers who need to run more than one light in a single grow space, then the Splitter Cable can be purchased. This enables the digital ballast to be connected to 2 LED units and thus cover twice the area. This method produces 10% more growth light than two 600w HID lamps would do in the same area, whilst using half the wattage!
The Adjusta-Watt Retro is the perfect lighting choice for a 1m x 1m grow space. It is very low profile and once plants are established can be hung very close to canopy making it a great choice for those growing in a tent. For single light setups we recommend pairing it with a BudBox Pro Large Tent. Some growers opt to position it a little further from the canopy which can increase its coverage to around 1.2m x 1.2m meaning the BudBox Pro XL Tent or BudBox Pro XL HL Tent are your best options. For those choosing to run 2 or more lights in a tent then a larger model will be required, please check out our range of Grow Tents to find the perfect solution for your grow space.
The Retro LED uses a variety of different colour LED diodes which produces a full spectrum light output, this coupled with the dimming function enables the unit to be used throughout the entire life cycle of the plant. For established plants the unit can be run at 75-100% power. In a 1m x 1m space we recommend hanging the the light around 15cm from the canopy, for those in a 1.2 x 1.2m area then around 30cm is best. For younger plants we recommend starting on 25-50% power and the light 30-50cm from the canopy, monitor your plants over a few days and slowly increase the power and/or lower the light as needed. For propagation or very young plants we would always suggest to start on 25% and around 50-80cm from the canopy.

Hi there,
This completely depends upon on you energy supplier.
Kind Regards,
Hi does this come complete ready to plug in and use ?
Hi there,
Yes these fixtures are simply plug and play!
Kind Regards,
How do these compare to other led fixtures and how does the splitter feature work? I can power two lights off a single ballast at full power???
Hi there,
Yes two fixtures can be driven by one ballast, this reduces energy consumption and divides power evenly between the units, reducing the current, yet still resulting in 2.8 umols per fixture!
