How To Use The Bluelab Pulse Meter

The Pulse Meter requires the Bluelab Pulse App in order for it to work. This can be downloaded for free from the relevant app store on your smart phone. Once you have linked and configured your meter you can then use immediately. Insert the meter probes into the substrate a minimum of 75mm and at least 25mm away from the side and base of the container. The Pulse Meter only works with medium that does not have large voids of space in it such as perlite or clay pebbles, this therefore makes it ideal for soil, coco or rockwool applications. Press the button and then wait for the measurement to arrive in the 'Measure' screen in the app. The supplied probe cover can be slid down the probes and act as a hard stop ensuring all readings are taken from the same depth, similarly the probes also have lines etched every 50mm. The minimum container/pot size needed for Pulse to effectively read is 2L.
