Canna Calmag Agent

Calmag Agent provides your plants with the ideal ratio of calcium and magnesium and is the perfect way to help recover plants suffering from this common nutrient deficiency. The concentrated solution is also great for improving bad quality water so you can get the very best results from your grow.

How It Works

Calcium and magnesium are both crucial elements required for healthy plant growth. Whilst they are not regarded as major elements they are in fact needed in fairly large quantities by your plants, especially during flowering when more potassium and phosphorus is being supplied and this can therefore lead to a nutrient deficiency. Another common, associated problem is the overall quality of your water you are using. Soft water usually has a very low background EC level which some nutrients are not designed to work with and will therefore lead to similar deficiency issues. 

How To Use Canna Calmag Agent

Calmag Agent can be used on all types of growing medium and is compatible with any type of hydroponic or water system. Canna recommend a dose of 0.5-1ml per litre of water. The product can be used to both buffer and condition your water as well as treating existing nutrient deficiencies. To buffer soft water add Calmag Agent at the recommended dose until a background EC of 0.4mS/cm is reached, your water is now ready for use and can have further nutrition added to it. The same dose can be applied to plants suffering with calcium and magnesium deficiencies until new healthy growth starts.
