A simple yet highly innovative solution to grow room air movement and ventilation. DiffuseAir diffusers are the most effective method to get rid of hot spots and high humidity zones and will help to provide an even, consistent environment throughout your entire room. Simply connect to an RVK fan and position in your grow room, or connect to your intake fan.
Unlike traditional air movement fans, DiffuseAir efficiently mixes all the air and offers you total control over the climate of your grow room. Whilst air circulators do work very well they can cause wind burn to your plants and excess salt accumulation in your growing media as the air is being directed in whichever direction the fan is facing. The DiffuseAir works differently as the air is never directed straight at your plants, it is instead spread sideways, this covers a far larger area and stops any harsh air streams from occurring. A single DiffuseAir can provide better air movement than four fans!
The DiffuseAir can be used in 2 ways. Firstly it can be suspended from the ceiling in the centre of your room and connected to a corresponding size RVK Fan. Air is then drawn through the top of the DiffuseAir and distributed downwards and sideways over the top of your canopy. This gently refreshes the environment around your plants and saves on floor and wall space which would ordinarily be needed for air movement fans. This method works best for square and some rectangular shaped rooms/tents. Please see the list below for the recommended DiffuseAir/room combinations. For larger rooms just add more!
The other option is to use a DiffuseAir on your intake fan. Similarly to the ceiling hung method this will ensure a far greater distribution of air throughout your room with zero hot spots. This installation method is better suited to more irregular shaped rooms and means you can really make better use of your intake air.
How do i no what speed to run it at in a 2m by 2m area with a fan controller
Hi there,
Your intake and extraction fan should be connected to a fan speed controller unit, this will calculate the optimum speed of each fan in order to maintain your desired environmental conditions.
