One of the most productive, yet easiest to use hydroponic methods available. The IWS Oxypot is a great way for beginners and experienced gardeners to grow plants and get jaw-dropping yields with minimal fuss.

How Does It Work

Deep Water Culture (DWC) is a very simple but highly effective method of growing hydroponically. Plants are housed in small net pots containing clay pebbles, this provides a solid base for your plant and will support it. These net pots are then suspended on a lid above the reservoir below which contains your nutrient solution. An air stone(s) is located at the bottom of the reservoir and connected to an appropriate air pump which runs 24/7, the creates a highly oxygenated solution that's perfect for your plant's roots to thrive in! As the roots increase in size they grow down into the reservoir where they have constant access to nutrients and oxygen, the ultimate recipe for extreme growth and yields!

How To Use

Setup and use is very simple with Oxypot. All you need to do is attach the indicator tube to each of your pots by inserting the threaded section through the hole at the bottom of the pot and securing with the supplied washers and nut to form a water-tight seal. This indicator tube allows you to see the water level of your pots without removing the lid and disturbing your plants, it can also be doubled as an emptying tube too if you wish! Once your pots are assembled you will need to connect each one to an appropriate sized air pump using air line and a golf ball air stone. These items are not supplied and need to be purchased separately. As a general rule of thumb, our single outlet air pump will work perfectly for a single pot, a twin outlet for two pots and so on. If you are unsure or require information on which pump you need for a bigger setup just get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Each Oxypot uses a 140mm net pot for your plant to sit in. It is important to only transplant well rooted and established plants into these pots and the system itself. Make sure you have an abundance of healthy roots on your propagation plug, add a thing layer of pebbles to the bottom of the net pot, then place your plug on top and fill the rest of the pot with pebbles. Fill the tank with your nutrient solution so it is just below the bottom of the net pot, this is approx 19L. Turn on your air pump and start growing!
