Maxibright Varidrive 360w LED Grow Light

The Maxibright Varidrive 360W LED is a compact, high-efficiency grow light that can slot neatly into smaller spaces whilst still delivering great performance. This fixture provides a powerful full-spectrum output, with a built in driver, just like the larger bar LED models we offer, but in a lightweight, space-saving design.

With a photosynthetic photon flux (PPF) of 1040 µmol/s and an impressive efficiency (PPE) of 2.89 µmol/J - the equivalent to most 600w HID systems! It’s the ideal choice for small to mid-sized grow tents/rooms ranging from 75cm x 75cm - 100cm x 100cm or as a supplemental light in larger setups. A built in dimmer and an RJ port provide straightforward control and compatibility with external lighting controllers meaning the fixture is suitable for all phases of grow and bloom.

How To Use The Maxibright Varidrive 360w LED Grow Light

The Varidrive LED will perfectly illuminate a 0.6m x 0.6m - 1m x 1m grow space with flowering plants. It can be used once cuttings are rooted or seedlings are established if desired. Due to the high output of modern LEDs such as this fixture we recommend starting with a hanging height of around 45cm from the canopy. Whilst there is next to no risk of heat stress, the high PPF can be a little strong from some plants so by starting with a higher hanging height allows them to acclimatise without issues. The unit has four dimming settings; 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. For young plants always begin on the lowest setting and gradually increase this over the course of a few weeks until the maximum setting can comfortably be used without any signs of stress. For more established plants start around 50-75%. As the output is increased you can also begin to decrease the space between the light and canopy. By flowering most growers are able to run the unit at full power and around 15-20cm from the top of the canopy.
