Mills Start

Start-R is a predominately organic nutrient additive designed for the vegetative and early flowering stages. It is a complex product that is comprised of high levels of nitrogen to help deliver outstanding results in these early stages of growth. As well as this it also contains a high quality seaweed extract alongside humic and fulvic acids. This combination of components creates the perfect recipe for strong, fast growth both above and below the ground.

How It Works

Mills Start covers all bases of the feeding requirements of young plants. It can be used as early as the seedling and rooted cutting stage if desired. The high levels of nitrogen present in this additive are perfect for the vegetative phase where this element is crucial for healthy growth. By supplementing nitrogen in this way alongside a high quality base nutrient will supercharge your vegetative growth and even allow you to cut down the time normally required for your plants to reach the desired size for flowering. Start-R also contains a premium quality seaweed extract. This is sourced from Irish Kelp and extracted using a cold-pressing method. This method ensures the highest concentration of auxins and cytokinins remain. Auxins help to promote plant cell enlargement and speed up the formation of roots and flowers. Cytokinins work alongside auxins, helping them to be transported around the plant and improving growth rates. Seaweed also contains a whole host of important micro-elements to help maintain overall plant health and prevent nutrient deficiencies. Humic, fulvic and amino acids are also all present in Start-R. These help to improve nutrient uptake and photosynthesis, whilst also reducing stress on the plant.

How To Use Mills Start-R

Mills Start is designed for use during the early stages of growth. Mills recommend adding Start throughout the entire vegetative stage and for the first two weeks of flowering. It can also be used on very young plants (seedlings and cuttings) if desired. Mills recommend a dose of 1ml per litre. Start-R is suitable for all types of growing medium and can also be used in hydroponics systems too.  

Start-R should be used alongside a high quality base nutrient such as Mills Basis A&B. Combine with other products from the Mills range such as Vitalize and Ultimate PK for a complete and powerful nutrient schedule.
