How It Works

Sumo Boost comprised of natural compound called Triacontanol and a plant extract sustainably harvested from the South Atlantic. Triacontanol is found in the waxes of many plants and when applied to the roots or leaves acts as a powerful growth stimulant that increases the rate of photosynthesis and nutrient uptake. The extract used in Sumo Boost is produced by a physical process known as high-pressure cell burst. This process allows the delicate hormones and nutrients to be extracted without any damage that can be associated with other methods which use chemical or high temperatures to do so. By doing so ensures the maximum retention of auxins and cytokinins alongside a wide range of other hormones such as brassinosteroids as well as vitamins and amino acids. This type of process is not seen in some other brands making Sumo Active Boost incredibly effective and producing unbeatable results. 

The benefits of Sumo Boost are huge. The auxins present encourage apical growth development, this increases the production of natural cytokinins which then in turn enhances cell division that leads to more flowering sites and growth. The leaves of your plants will also become greener and larger allowing more carbohydrates to be synthesized, plants will show an improved overall vigour. Nutrient uptake is greatly increased which directly effects the final yield. Lastly the production of secondary metabolites is stimulated and ramped up. These include resins and terpenes which the plant uses to defend itself from certain environmental conditions but also have direct links to things like taste and aroma of your produce.

How To Use Shogun Sumo Active Boost

Sumo Active Boost is suitable for use in all hydroponic systems as well as any growing medium. It is to be used as soon as the flowering cycle begins and can be applied as a root drench or foliar spray.

The Shogun feed chart recommends a dose of 1-2ml per litre of water when used as a root drench which should be added with every watering or tank change. If using as a foliar spray then add Sumo Boost at a rate of 2ml per litre and ensure the pH is between 5-7. Apply as soon as the flowering cycle begins and then once more 28 days later. Afterwards use as a root feed only.

IMPORTANT! Do not use Hydrogen Peroxide products (Liquid Oxygen etc) with Sumo Boost as this will kill off some of the components it contains. 

For the very best results combine Sumo Boost with Shogun PK Warrior 9/18 during flowering and then finish with Shogun Dragon Force. These products make up some of the great additives from the Shogun range and will deliver unbeatable results when used correctly together.
