Description

Spreader mat (sometimes called capillary matting) is an essential component to your NFT system. It will work with both the Gro-Tank and Multi Duct systems as well as any others. The matting is laid down onto the top tray and ensures the even distribution of your nutrient solution once it gets wet. Some growers opt for a single layer, whereas others use multiple.

Available in 50ft, 100ft and 300m lengths that are 20cm wide, as well a 300m roll in an extra-wide 40cm width.

  • Required, a hydroponic growing solution to support grass turf over stone / chipping base. Required only for long term visual effect and not to be walked on. Will this product achieve that end ?

    Hi there,

    If you layer the speader matting to make the bed the grass seed can root into deeper then it would technically work. However with the outside elements there is no guarantee that your seed will stay in the matting or that it won't get washed or blown away.
