The next size up from the Telos Dynamic 930, the 1200 is a slightly larger unit with a higher output. This 400w light has a higher 3.0 umol/J, which generates a total of 1200 PPF at full power! It is perfect for grow rooms and tents of around 1m x 1m in size. As with all Telos Dynamic lights, it uses their new propriety light spectrum for maximum yields and can be controlled via a Telos Growcast for the very best results.
The Dynamic range offers a whole host of features that truly set them aside from other grow lights.
Precision Optical Engineering
All of the Dynamic range features Telos’ patent-pending batwing optical lens. This specialised optical lens design balances light output to ensure even PPFD distribution across the entire canopy while eliminating hotspots that cause photodamage. This technology redistributes photons emitted by the LEDs, ensuring a balanced and even spread if light, promoting consistent growth across all plant levels.
Optimised Light Spectrum
Telos’ proprietary PWS1 spectrum, developed from the latest research in medical and commercial horticulture differs from other lights. Unlike traditional grow lights that emphasise red-heavy spectrums, PWS1 delivers higher concentrations of blue and green light. These wavelengths penetrate deep into plant canopies, driving photosynthesis even in lower foliage. This balanced volumetric energy distribution enables growers to operate at much higher PPFD levels, without causing photobleaching or heat stress. Additionally, 430nm violet pump white LEDs enhance plant resilience by improving nutrient density, flavonoid production, and resistance to surface-level pathogens.
Durability and Performance
Telos Dynamic lights are built for grow rooms and therefore designed to withstand challenging environmental conditions they can present, including high humidity which can wreck havoc with electrical goods! All internal electronics are housed in IP66-rated, mechanically sealed enclosure, providing complete protection from water, dust, and environmental debris. The fixture’s CNC-machined 6063 anodised aluminium and stainless-steel housing provides superior durability while functioning as a passive cooling system. This advanced heatsink design maintains optimal temperature, preventing overheating and prolonging the lifespan of the light.
Advanced Control and Connectivity
All Dynamic LEDs are Telos Growcast compatible. This state-of-the-art technology provides seamless wireless control over light intensity (10–100%) and scheduling, all securely accessed and controlled via an app! The Dynamic 930 features a built-in Growcast, whereas the larger units require this to be purchased separately if you wish to use it. For multi-light setups, several units can even be connected using Telos Power Link lead, this allows your lights to be daisy-chained to a single power source, thus minimising wires and sockets.
Built To Last
All Telos Dynamic grow lights come with a three-year warranty, extendable to five years upon registration. They comply with all British and European electrical and photobiology safety standards, ensuring complete reliability and peace of mind. With their unmatched efficiency, advanced optical engineering, and precision spectrum tuning, the Telos Dynamic range sets a new benchmark for high-performance grow lighting.
The Dynamic 1200 is suitable for all stages of plant growth thanks to it's unique full spectrum light. For best results when using the Dynamic 1200 it is important to maintain the correct hanging height whilst adjusting the output power based on your plants needs. The ideal hanging height is 55cm from the canopy at all times in a 1m x 1m grow room, this will achieve optimum light spread and coverage. Too close will mean that not all areas of your canopy will be illuminated evenly, too far will mean lower levels of PPF. You can then simply adjust the wattage using the Growcast (sold separately) according to the needs of your plants. For young plants start low, then gradually increase this as they grow.
