Blumat systems rely on an 'intelligent' dripper setup that senses when the soil is dry and will then activate watering. Each kit works independently to any other kits attached to the same water butt so you can rest assured that each pot is getting the correct amount of irrigation tailored to the plants' needs. All the kits are modular and pots and beds can be added and removed from the setup easily.

Each kit comes with all the required components to completely irrigate a single pot of the specified size, making it very easy to get the right bits for your setup. All you need to do is buy enough 8mm Irrigation Tubing and a 13mm-8mm Click-Fit Tank Adapter and Filter to connect your irrigation kit to your water butt. If you are looking to irrigate more than one pot or bed from a single water butt then all of the kits come with the required connections to allow you to do so as well. Blusoak Kits work best when optimal pressure is maintained in the 8mm Irrigation Tuning. This is best achieved with the Blumat Pump System. The Pump System connects to your water butt and will ensure the necessary pressure is achieved throughout all your pots or beds to maintain the required watering. It is possible to use Blusoak Kits using just gravity pressure, however, 1.5-2m or head height is typically needed.
