Plant Magic Silicon

Silicon acts like a coat of armour for your plants and strengthens the leaves and stems. It helps to protect from various types diseases and pests as well as defend against environmental stress such as extreme temperatures or drought.

How It Works

Plant Magic Silicon is a unique blend of potassium silicon and bio-stimulants. When added correctly to your nutrient solution it is a real game-changer. Whilst silicon is not regarded as an essential element for plants to grow, its benefits make it hard to see why it is not used. Introducing silicon to your plants reinforces their cell walls, this strengthens the leaves and stems helping to prevent them snapping under heavy yields and can help to reduce the need for additional plant supports. Plants will gain a far greater protection against heat, cold, drought, intense light and even pests and diseases. This allows you to continue growing even in the harshest of conditions. 

How To Use Plant Magic Silicon

Silicon is suitable for use in all types of systems and with any growing medium. The Plant Magic feeding schedule suggests to use Silicon throughout the entire vegetative period and into the flowering stage until around 2 weeks before harvest. If growing in soil or coco then the recommended dose is 1-2ml per litre, whereas in hydro it is 0.5-1ml per litre.

It is important to add Silicon to your nutrient solution correctly otherwise you will not gain the full benefits of using it.

- Always add Silicon first and throughly mix it before adding any other products.

- Next add your remaining nutrients and additives in the usual fashion.

- Finally adjust your pH to the desired level. Silicon will raise the pH of your nutrient solution so don't be alarmed if you need to add more pH Down than you are used to!
